Services Offered

Alex has been teaching for over 15 years. He offers private lessons and workshops, in person or online. Rates for one on one sessions are $60/hr or $40/half hour. Inquire for availability or group lesson rates.

With a masters degree from UNT's jazz program, Alex is closely involved with many talented jazz players in the Dallas area. He can staff a duo, trio, quartet or more for concerts or private events.

Alex's studio is set up with Logic, mic'd amps, amp sims, and AKG condenser mics. Clients can send a song in progress to have an acoustic or electric guitar part recorded remotely and sent back for mixing.

Alex is among the TIMES community of Celtic folk musicians in DFW and performs regularly with a guitar/fiddle duo or trio with percussion. He is also available on tenor banjo as a melody player.

Alex is available for local or international contract work as a solo guitarist and band member either for live shows or recording projects. 

Alex has studied and played with some of the best manouche players in the world. His Django-style groups focus on the classic swing and Latin-inspired styles, including guitar, cello or bass, violin or clarinet, and snare drum.
